How much should we sleep?
How much should we sleep?

On average, 7.5-9 hours seems to allow for optimal recovery for most. Although, some people claim 6 hours is all the need, while others opt for 9 hours.
Children will need much more rest, 10 to sometimes 12 hours. Personally, I wake up with the sunrise, resetting the circadian rhythm (the body's natural clock) and falling asleep when I’m tired.
This natural solution puts me right at 7.5 hours of sleep.
