Frequently Asked Questions

What can I do to feel more motivated?

What are some of the things I can do to motivate myself to get to the gym and be consistent with going?

Adam Reida

There are a few things that you can do. First of which, find a workout buddy. Having a workout buddy holds you accountable and will motivate you to get to the gym when you’re struggling a bit.

And if your workout buddy is in your same situation, often times we will take on the responsibility and role of wanting to be there for them too. If a workout buddy is not in the cards, then getting yourself a personal trainer can be a great investment for yourself. Just handing over that hard earned cash will be plenty of motivation to get your butt into the gym. Another thing we do in corporate wellness settings, that would also work on a personal level, is to offer rewards for fitness achievements on a weekly basis.

These could be anything from a massage to a movie night to 30 minutes of just you time that can be spent doing anything your heart desires.

If you really want to get spicy, you can add in a punishment aspect for not achieving your goals, if you’re into that sort of thing, Mr. Gray.
