Does working out one area lose weight in that area?
Is it true that if you work out an area of the body, you’ll lose more fat in that area?

For example doing sit-ups to lose stomach fat? I wish that were the case but in reality the fat loss is primarily going to come from macronutrient pairing and cardio.
In short: Fat loss in your abs will NOT happen specifically by working out that particular area. Fat loss occurs from diet alone. Regular exercise speeds up the fat loss process. Fat comes off all areas of the body as you diet and exercise and the idea that working out that particular area of the body loses weight in that area is a myth.
